After years of waiting, Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 finally has a release window.
Revealed at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, the new look at Hellblade 2 also showed us another look at the upcoming sequel. More importantly, we got confirmation from Ninja Theory that Hellblade 2 will arrive sometime next year on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
It's been a long wait for Hellblade fans. Ninja Theory and Microsoft announced the sequel in 2019, alongside the Xbox Series X. We've seen it several times in the years since, from behind-the-scenes footage to a gameplay trailer, to learning the game will run on Unreal Engine 5.
Hellblade 2 is a sequel to 2017's Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. We called the original amazing in our review, saying, "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a masterclass of atmosphere, storytelling, and the marriage of mechanical and conceptual design."
