Capcom Reveals New Game, Path of the Goddess

Must read

Capcom has revealed its newest game, and it's headed to Game Pass.

During today's Xbox Games Showcase, Capcom revealed Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, a combat game with horror themes and a colorful aesthetic. Seemingly taking place in Japan, Path of the Goddess features masked characters fighting off monsters with swords and bows (and magic).

The trailer shows off quite a few of these creepy-looking enemies, including a few eyeless monsters with massive tongues and some quickly crawling human-like creatures, in depth as the characters fight them off in fast-paced fights.

Quite a few fans were quick to note that the game seems to take stylistic inspiration from Capcom's own Onimusha series, which hasn't seen a new addition since 2006's Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams.

Path of the Goddess did not yet receive a release window, but it'll be available on Game Pass on day one. Capcom also has a showcase tomorrow, and it's possible that more details about Path of the Goddess could be announced then.
